During Summer 2024 we offer 2D and 3D video game design workshops at different locations in the US. Which is a great opportunity for your kids to learn 2D animation, 3D Modeling, 2d Game, 3D Game and intro to programming in just a couple of days!
2D Animation and Video Game
Age group: 10 - 15
Course Highlighs
Day 1:
Character Design in Photoshop: Learn the fundamentals of character design using Adobe Photoshop. Create and design your own unique characters with professional tools.
Motion and Animation in After Effects: Animate your characters in Adobe After Effects. Master keyframing, adding motion, and creating stunning animations.
Adding Sound and Exporting Projects: Integrate sound effects and background music into your animations. Learn how to export your final projects ready to showcase. 1 project in just one day!
Day 2:
Introduction to Scratch: Discover the basics of game design with Scratch. Import your animated characters and set up your game environment.
Creating Interactive Games: Develop your first interactive game using your animated characters. Learn essential game mechanics and controls.
Advanced Game Projects: Take your game design skills to the next level by creating more complex games. Implement advanced features and interactions. 2 games in just one day!
3D Animation and Video Game
Age group: 12 - 17
Intro to 3D modeling, video game engines, and programming! Learn to design and create your own 3D city and a car game in just 2 days, guided by university faculty.
Course Highlighs
Day 1:
3D Modeling for Games: Introduction to Blender, understanding the interface, and basic 3D modeling techniques. Students will learn to create simple shapes and structures. By the end of the day, students will have designed their own 3D city.
Day 2:
Building 3D Games: Introduction to Unity, understanding the interface, and basic game development concepts. Students will learn to import their 3D models from Blender into Unity. Programming basics in Unity, setting up game mechanics, and creating a car game. Students will learn how to add interactivity and functionality to their game.​
